There are 2 types of barcode printer technologies categorized by the type of print head:

1. Flathead – for normal speed printing
2. Near edge – for high-speed printing

Best applied when scratch and smear / mild chemical durability is required. 

Wax Resin barcode is composed of a mixture of both wax and resinous materials that required a higher melting point compared to the wax ribbon, making the printout more durable than wax ribbon. Wax resin barcode ribbon’s exceptional print quality is suitable for complex label formats, rotated and 2D barcodes, logos and graphics.

• Frozen products labels

• Coated paper tags and labels
